Our team centered approach includes a variety of disciplines working together
Physicians and Advanced Practitioners have an integral role at Monte Nido & Affiliates with a flexible schedule in a supportive environment. Treatment programs at Monte Nido, Walden Behavioral Care, Clementine, and Rosewood focus on stabilizing the eating disorder and co-occurring presentations, reducing urges, enhancing motivation, developing alternative coping capacities, and changing the way clients think about themselves and their world. Though the programs have some nuanced philosophical differences, they share a deep commitment to helping clients regain a healthy relationship with food and their bodies.

Staff Testimonials
Dr. Stu K. Pediatrics
Eating Disorders are fascinating to treat as they are at the true intersection of physical and mental healthcare. It is academically stimulating and intellectually rewarding to have the daily opportunity to treat a complex set of diseases while considering the whole person. But the most satisfying part of working at MNA is the true sense of collaboration and teamwork that goes into the treatment of each client; the true multidisciplinary approach invites challenge and learning in a unique way. There are so many talents and skills around the table; it's a joy to interact with this community daily.
Syreeta C., FNP-C
Why do I work for Rosewood Ranch? I get the opportunity to support my patients through what may be one of the most challenging times in their lives. There is a sense of community felt across all departments. I have the flexibility to be able to work at my own pace throughout the day. Lastly, to top it all off, no other healthcare environment will compare to Rosewood’s beautiful Southwestern setting.
Dr. Leslie G. Adolescent Medicine and Pediatrics
Working at Monte Nido has been an ideal opportunity and a wonderful experience. I have a personal interest and passion to support those struggling with eating disorders. I am able to care for such individuals as a member of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team. The on-site staff, including 24-hour nursing, are excellent and make coordinating the medical management of patients smooth. I also value working with the national leadership team which is composed of individuals who are knowledgeable, passionate, engaged and responsive. It has been a pleasure to work with all the members of the Monte Nido team. The significant flexibility of the work compliments my other professional and personal responsibilities. I would strongly recommend a position with Monte Nido to all
Dr. Lindsay M. Psychiatry
I have had the pleasure of working with the Monte Nido Team during the past few years, where I have been consistently impressed with the high-caliber treatment the clients receive there. Evidence-based treatment is delivered in a thoughtful and warm manner throughout the clients’ stays, and close contact with the families are maintained throughout treatment. I am continually inspired seeing how most clients, even those with challenging histories, are able to complete their meals and weight restore during their stay. I have always felt supported, respected, and included by the Clementine staff and by the larger Monte Nido organization. Despite the serious nature of the illnesses we treat, I happily look forward to arriving at work because of the positive environment there. It is constantly rewarding to observe the excellent outcomes and have confidence that the Monte Nido treatment works.
Diana N. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
My goal entering into a company like Monte Nido & Affiliates was to evolve my skills in a supportive environment, work within a team, and provide efficient solutions. Within almost three years now, I have elevated my nursing career in tremendous ways and could not have done so without the support and leadership at MNA. Hired as an interim nurse manager in 2020, turned into a consulting nurse manager job quickly and I was able to travel all over the US to MNA sites and learn from the best of all disciplines. Eating Disorders can be challenging, but I have learned so much and with the support and guidance from Monte Nido’s leadership team. I have now graduated with my masters in nursing and I work full time as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for MNA. I look forward to seeing where my career with MNA takes me next.
For 27 years I have worked exclusively in the medical care of eating disorder patients and have had a front row seat to follow the evolution of eating disorder care. Monte Nido & Affiliates’ reputation for clinical excellence and attention to a healing and homey environment, all supported by superb outcomes, creates the ultimate opportunity not only for individuals and families but for staff as well.As an integral part of the multidisciplinary team, you can make a positive impact on people’s lives. The camaraderie of our teams along with a senior leadership team that shines among the best makes the work all the more fulfilling.I cannot imagine working elsewhere.
